He has led several companies from the origin until they or their projects have been acquired and/or valued at several multiples. He has an MSC in oil exploration from Chalmers University of Technology, an MBA in Petroleum Management from Robert Gordon University and a BSC in Marine Geology from the University of Gothenburg.

Jan Kielland brings over 40 years of international leadership in oil, gas, and private equity. He has held senior roles at Shell, Saga Petroleum, DNO, Lundin Petroleum, Sector Asset Management, Canamens Limited, Panoro Energy, and co‑founded Det Norske Oljeselskap AS. At Lundin Petroleum, he was instrumental in expanding the North Sea portfolio to over 1 billion barrels. In 2018, Jan founded Capsol Technologies ASA, leading it from NOK 10 million to NOK 1 billion market cap before its 2024 OSE listing. He now serves as Chair of Capsol’s Nomination Committee, Advisory Board Member, and Chairman of Energybank1 AS, while remaining active in international investments and operations.

Steven Din is an internationally recognised mining and metals professional who brings over 25 years of experience in the natural resources sector. He has held senior positions in the past with Rio Tinto across varied geographies and different minerals, including iron ore and copper. His leadership is defined by pioneering international mining projects, with a focus on sustainable and rapid development in emerging markets. Steven is currently developing projects in West Africa for a major player in the mining and steel sector.
